Why people watch this show i don't think i will ever understand. Ive never been a fan of shit reality TV such as the x factor, the apprentice, big brother etc etc.The only reality TV Ive ever enjoyed was a show called 'Something About Miriam' first broardcast on Sky One in 2004. It was a reality dating show where six male contestants battled it out to date 21yr old Mexican model Miriam. Only to find out at the very end she was actually born a man and currently still had a penis. I believe it ruined many lives, especially the winner who was serving in the marines. But it sure made me laugh.
Anyway, last years X Factor Christmas single took a beating when an anti establishment and anti X Factor single was launched. Notably Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name. I was bombarded with Facebook groups and whatnot begging me to join and buy the single. Something i find somewhat ironic given that the most important part of the song is the lyric 'Fuck you, i wont do what you tell me'. Nether the less it peaked at number 1 and kept the X Factor single off the top spot, whoever he was. I think a similar thing happened the year before with Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen although this failed to delight the nation quite like the Che Guevara fans did. I never liked the dirty communist anyway, but thats a different story.
Bearing all this in mind, there is a particular song i think we should strive for Christmas no 1 this year. I think everyone should start to panic buy it when the x factor single is released, its really a cracker.

Jack is someone who hasn't had a TV for six years, who fosters dogs, care for his mum, volunteers for children, work with seniors, recycles and reuses anything he can and does not sit at his computer for all day putting his wisdom on the internet. Hope that helps!
